Introduction

Never been there but I am already in "love" with Egypt...

Well, this is how was staring the introduction when I originally wrote it. Since then I traveled to Egypt and now I am more in love with it than before.

What the people of Egypt have created many thousands of years ago are outstanding even when measured with the modern standards. Is difficult to find in Europe buildings a thousand years old, let alone five thousand years old. Their builders really mean it when they were saying: "Build to last."

We can not even imagine today, with all our knowledge, how they did it with practically bare hands. I think every person on this planet should think about Egypt, be proud of being part of a race capable of such amazing achievements.

Probably you would not find something on my pages about Egypt that you can not find in other sites dedicated to Egypt, but I would like to pay a small tribute to a great civilization by acknowledging their achievements.
