Minimum viewing equipment: telescope

Alpheratz is a blue, 2.1 magnitude double star, that defines the north eastern corner of Pegasus constelation. Using at least an 8 inch telescope you would be able to see the very faint companion 11.3 magnitude.

Note: This is an extended exposure picture taken with specialised equipment and is likely different from what can be seen through an ordinary telescope.
